Hose Cleaning Bullets
When are your hoses CLEAN enough to be put into service?
If you are like most of us, you run the hoses thru your ritual cleaning procedure that at best consists of a hot water wash and blow dry and into service they go.
But how do you KNOW they are clean?
Now these cleaning bullets will SHOW you what the inside of the hose looks like. You press the appropriate size bullet into the hose and use an air gun to push it thru the hose. Capture it on the other end and visually inspect it. You will be amazed at how much debris is inside a hose you thought was clean.
I suggest a procedure like this:
NEW HOSES:
Cut hose to length
Run cleaning bullet thru to remove debris from original hose manufacturing and from cutting hose
Assemble hose ends
Pressure test hose
Clean using your usual procedure
Run Bullets thru hose until they come out as clean as they go in
USED HOSES:
Visually inspect hose for damage or kinks and pressure testing is always sound practice
If satisfied, clean the hose using your usual procedure
Run Bullets thru hose until they come out as clean as they go in.
IN MANY CASES THE BULLETS CAN BE REUSED A FEW TIMES OR MORE, ESPECIALLY WHEN JUST CHECKING HOSE CONDITION
